State of Texas License to Carry

This is the State of Texas Department of Public Safety License to Carry course.

Five hours of classroom and approximately an hour on the range depending on class size.

Note: The furthest you will have to shoot is 15 yards.

**This is not a basic firearms handling class. You must have a basic understanding of your firearm, safety, loading, firing and shooting accurately.

Bring:

An open mind
Pen and Paper
Wear stable footwear. No flip flops or sandals!
Weather appropriate clothing
Ear and eye protection
Quality and Serviceable Firearm (Taurus, Colt, Khar etc)
At least two magazines for semi automatics and at least two speed loaders for revolvers.
50 rounds of ammunition
$90 (Class cost $80, $10 for range fees)
